Hi!

I play Maganic Wars occasionally and it's fun, yet there's a detail I haven't figured out yet.. and it always hits me out of the blue, generally really-really hard. At some point, either me or my opponent is going to ignore ALL damage with this shhinng noise and upside down blue egg shape covering the character. I've wasted 40+ damage hits on that damn thing. What on earth causes this!? How can I predict it?

I'm pretty sure you're talking about parapet.

Parapet cards have a percentage chance of working. When they do, they absorb all damage for its user. I forgot whether or not parapet lasts one turn only, or until it takes damage, so if you see your opponent use a parapet card, be safe and use either a supportive card or a card that does do so much damage, or even better, a card with a possible status alignment part on it as well, and see if it works.

It was indeed Parapet and it lasts until it takes damage. And it was driving me INSANE! I suspected a shield type of card and would have never thought that an offensive card would have this powerful defensive characteristics!
