I thought there was a modly decision a while ago that any one character could only be in one rewards-worthy battle or RP at any one time. Am I mistaken?

If I am...anyone want to start an RP with me, given I'll have 12 hours waiting for a plane somewhere in texas and nothing to do? :D

Not that I'm aware of. However I haven't followed the rules about RPs as closely as I should and the RP rules aren't actually posted somewhere like the battleground rules are. Something we should look at doing during this patch.

Leboyx will get the final ruling but I'm inclined to allow you to pause this one in particular. Fair warning though tequila hasn't logged on in a couple of months so it could be a long time before she comes back.

Final addition: I see pausing an Rp as fine but if you truly can only be in one reward Rp at a time even if tequila comes back you will need to finish the new rp before resuming the old one.

I don't recall any discussions in the past about putting things "on hold" to allow you to start new stuff up. In your case, LSS, I don't see any reason why you can't pause your thing w/ Tequila.

This is something we should visit to determine more concrete guidelines for stuff like this. I'll go post something under Suggestions shortly.

KoD is a lot of commitment - do we have the numbers to really make that happen?

Really? That went fast, but I guess the forum has only really gotten active again in the last couple of months. Maybe once we get a proper grasp on the patch and exactly which members are sticking around. I imagine once the retirement system goes through there will be a number of new characters about.

I was half toying with the idea of planning a PQ in the back of my mind to be honest

PQ's are smaller in scope, so we've got that going for us. But there's more logistics involved with that. I don't want people burning out to quickly, y'know?

They that's why I was just planning. I was waiting for a big chunk of our patching to go through before I mentioned it to you to get some feedback on my idea, wanted to try something slightly different.

I've been meaning to visit your patch thread. Sorry for not getting my feedback over there yet. It'll be up sometime today, if all goes well.

Numbers I think will be the issue.

But I feel a PQ is significantly more intense on a moderator than compared to the KoD. After posting an arena, a moderator just has to make sure the people don't tome out.

Or, perhaps not even a KoD. Maybe a smaller, less important tournament event. We could try something "different" to help energize rather than drain.

I think a PQ would be bad juju.

One does not simply 'lurk' on DI.

But yes....

Yeah but I'm new, I'm still in the want to do everything at once stage :)
