Biography

He was born, raised and recruited in Csargory, a forsaken feud of the Isarcanian Crown, deep into the tightest forests, where no one, other than the Lord of the land, was to be worshipped.
At age of seven he entered the military service as a trainee, as every other boy in town.
When the Orc Wars exploited in the Peninsula, he served as infantry for many battles under his own Lord’s command and under the Warrior Mages of Isarcán. At his return he was ordered Knight of the Holly Order of Arifam and commissioned to the Royal Guard.

Never cared too much about his family, so by his adulthood he lost track of them. Maybe they moved to the capital, maybe they died.
Nevertheless, he got a family of his own by marrying his dearest girlfriend Agafna, who in time gave birth to his two sons, Balk and Gomonder.

In those times, the Immortals War commenced. Although unclear are the circumstances of its beginning, soon after, the whole living human communities of the Peninsula found themselves uniting strength to try and put a stopper in the uprising menace. Entire kingdoms were turning to the undead. No fleshies or skeletons; nothing seen before.
An auto-proclaimed army of Paladins, rose in eight of the thirteen crowns of the Peninsula, gaining the control of their cities.
For years, they have demonstrated the incomparable physical and moral strength of their soldiers, winning every battle. Defending fiercely each foot of land, attacking with outrageous wrath, all their heretic enemies.

His Lord entrusted, to a mighty force of his best men, a dangerous mission. He was one of the hundred knights sent to travel and join a larger force of free men, under the command of the Mages of Isarcán. Except for… it was all a lie; a treason. They were sent to death; to a trap.
It was unleashed the worse battle of his curricula. The one story he would never tell. The one survival he would never be proud of conjuring.
Only six of them found their way back home.
And what they found there, was better missing. They should have better died in the fields with their companions, rather than finding out the truth beneath the deceit.

The king had sent only the knights who had a family. A few young knights stayed behind with him at the feud, which was considered natural, at the time. But the uncanny reason for this, was far from it.
The remaining population had been gathered inside the main temple, as in a regular drill of attack… locked and burnt alive with the building.
The Lord himself and the handful of henchmen that perpetrated that horror, hung themselves in the trees of the main street.

Before that ill-fated view, all six of them -that had lost a wife and some children-, sworn to separate and never speak of that day, of that feud, of that Lord…

They marched on separated ways. Though not all at the time: there were only so many paths from Csargory’s main square that six men could not walk away from that living hell without overlapping themselves.
The one who later on was known as Kitzaron went south towards the Gate of Losai. He noticed then, that the youngest knight stayed behind, seating on the reddish pavement, toppled, defeated, heart-broken.
He knew him, not as a close friend, but it was –it used to be- a small community that of the knights of Csargory; he remembered his wife and baby-boy. Alianthal was the infant’s name. A gorgeous little baby, blue-eyed like his mother and ginger-haired just like his father, a handsome young man, himself.

The lump in his throat grew bigger and rougher by the remembrance of his partner’s family. Not a word he could have spoken. Nonetheless he returned and faced him. The boy raised his head and looked up at him.
Many years from then, on his deathbed, still Kitzaron wouln’t be able to describe the emptiness of that look, the bleak and gaunt tearless expression on his countenance.
The crudity of the portray offered him an insight on his own pain.

He offered his hand for him to rise, but the young knight couldn’t react. He threw a glance upon the devastated landscape.
The avenue was covered in ashes from the building, but from the people inside as well. The sky was grey, the air cold, the day sad.

- The mill’s still spinning –he said with great sore, amazed. As if he could expect it to mourn over the death of thousands, and stand still.

Three weeks before the fire, the Lord of Csargory had a vision. He had been ill for some months, then.

A couple of physicians from Isarcan paid him a visit that shed no light to his condition. He was convinced that it was the work a dark magic and became obsessed with finding a cure. The vision itself took place on the mirror of his quarters. One morning, the Lord saw his face deformed, monstrous-like, distorted into something uncanny.

So he understood that the Palladins were to blame, and that the whole town needed to be purified. So he gathered his closest captains and concocted the plan of sending the troops away and disposed of the people. And gave specific instructions for his own hanging. The blood of the csargorians was to be eradicated.

First, they pushed everyone inside the main temple and set it on fire. They waited there, listening to the shrilly screams of women and children begging for water, for a saviour. Then they hanged the Lord in the exact way he asked it; on the main avenue, from the thickest branch of the oldest tree. And finally, when they could have escaped and leave all that behind, they changed their minds. They knew there would be no living with that memory. So the took their own lives without ceremony of any kind.

That is what the six knights found when they got back from the other hell. From the battle designed for them not to survive.
