The foot n her mouth clacked a bit as she ran towards the little girl, who had managed to stand with amazing balance on just one foot. Though the child's anger was full blast, the Sylvaan couldn't help but feel... superior? to this small child. She had weapons at her disposal, forms that could crush her, and if all else failed, she had her foot. So it was with this confidence, and a throbbing headache that the leopard made the final feet closing in on her, intent on tearing an arm off if need be.

"Give. Me. Back. My. FOOT!" The girl yelled in her anger, though the Shifter had missed the hands clapping together. What she didn't miss was the force of a shock wave that came from the girl, and now in mid leap, was thrown backwards with a force unheard of from a stature so small. With her tail swinging madly to right herself so she would at least land on her feet, she fell to the ground a good few feet away. Luckily enough cats had an uncanny ability to land on their feet almost always, and though she was naturally elven, this applied to her current form.

With the foot still in her mouth, and the child now breaking into a song about her foot, the Sylvaan stare for a moment. If it wasn't for the foot in her mouth and her current form, the gentle shaking of her shoulders would have been apparent laughter, loud and boisterous, but in reality it just looked like the leopard was having a small spasm attack in her rib cage. Either way, Nuncia was more than amused by this child; she was stronger than she looked, could sing at just about anytime for no apparent reason, had a book that talked, and now could force-push her foes away from her. The only thing the girl lacked was a foot. That thought made her laugh more, her head bowing as the spasms in her ribcage continued with more force. She was laughing so hard now her front legs had joined in the shaking, making her look as if she was either seriously sick, hurt, or some other malady, though it was simple hysteria.

Nuncia wanted to see how the little girl would get her foot back, so she waited for her to finish her song-- which thankfully had no depressant warning on it this time. She continued to laugh while peering through squinted red eyes at the girl, shifting into a smaller Howler Monkey, the foot dropping from her mouth to be held in her hand, both arms wrapped around her as she started to hoot loudly at the girl in her laughter, stamping her little feet a bit.

Her song didn't have the intended effect. She prepared to unleash all of her power on the poor, unsuspecting Nuncia... although, she had to suspect now that Musalis could do quite a bit of harm. After all, she had told her as much, in her songs. Also, she probably had a headache from being hit with Cindy. There was no way she could have gotten away from that without any consequences. Focus. Bringing pain and retaking the foot was the objective here, and...

"Woah, slow down, Musalis. Being angry in a fight will just make you fight badly. And you're angrier than a shark without a wagon."

That did break through her bubble of anger. Mostly due to the shock of Cindy telling her to be responsible. That just turned the entire world upside down. Also...

"A what without a what?! What?"

"Shark without a wagon.", Cindy repeated, "Look, it's simple. Sharks are the kings of the ocean, so they want to be taken everywhere with a wagon. Naturally. Kings are too important to walk."

"But... but... sharks are always without wagons!"

"Of course they are. Why do you think they eat other fish and people all the time? Anger, I tell you. If you'd just give them wagons, they'd be as gentle as sheep. Also, don't you have a battle to finish and a foot to take back?"

"Oh. Right.", Musalis said. She had been brought completely off track by Cindy. She turned her attention back to Nuncia, who now was a monkey. Musalis took a moment to adjust to that. She was almost getting used to her opponent shifting forms all the time, but not quite yet.

"Uhmmm... so, I noticed you haven't given me back my foot yet. May I ask why?"

The monkey was now hooting in laughter even more after hearing the book talk about sharks and wagons... It was the most ridiculous nonsense she had ever heard that may make sense. The little girl's anger seemed to have disappeared thanks to Cindy's nonsensical quips, thankfully enough to the Sylvaan. She still felt a little bad about taking her foot, but really, her head hurt enough to warrant a little teasing. Even now, she was asking a monkey why it hadn't given her foot back. To any outsiders watching this, it would be a show of insanity for the skeletal girl and her book.

The monkey slowed her laughing to pretend to wipe a tear away, foot still in hand. With a pointed look with her red eyes, she looked at the girl as if to say 'You're talking to a monkey. Do you really expect an answer?' and started hooting as if to talk, though really she was just making noises. Then as the baboons do it, she turned around, smacked her rear and started to walk away, swinging the foot onto her shoulder like a hobo sack, walking slowly away. She hadn't realized this form wasn't so great on land, but better in trees, so walking on one set of knuckles was a little harder, making her a bit slower than usual. Once a few feet further, she scratched her head and looked at the ground again, giving a small hoot of excitement, jumping a little on the spot, back still turned to the girl-- her reasoning was simple enough for turning her back; how fast could a one legged girl move?

Examining the tracks a little more, she gave a monkey grin, leaning on the foot like a cane, the knee joint in her hands with the foot on the ground. Sure enough, there were the prints she was looking for, and right outside the opposite building to the inn. Huh, what luck. Now that the puzzle was solved... what to do with the foot? Her head still smarted from the blow, and she still felt the vague sadness though it was dissipating as the headache got worse. Maybe she would give it back? After all the girl had asked nicely first, then asked angrily, and was now inquiring about it. Hmm...

A quick look to see where the tracks were headed, and she looked back to the girl, eyebrow raised at her as she still leaned on the foot. Maybe all she needed was a wagon, and then she would be happy. With that stray thought she started to chuckle again in her little monkey way, though because of the Howler's structure, the sound carried easily through the quiet of the small town.

This had to be the first time ever that she had not been angry at someone and fought with that anger, but in turn the opponent was angry at her. Strange how the world turned this night around. Maybe it was the work of her god? What was his name again? And if she was a priest of this god, did that mean she could call him down? If that was so, why did she not just do that and get him to smite her down and take her foot back? Strange people, priests. Especially small skeletal ones with one foot. She snickered again at the thought.

Tonight was a good night.

Unfortunately, her polite inquiry didn't have the intended effect of Nuncia giving her foot back. Musalis focused on staying calm. There was nothing to be gained from flying in a rage, and much to loose. So, what could she do? Apparently, Nuncia seemed to think it beneath her even to answer. Somehow, she had to get her foot back, though. And if Nuncia didn't answer to words, what other option did Musalis have but to resort to violence again?

Ah, but that was the point. There had to be other options. There always were. You just had to find them. So, what besides knocking her unconscious could persuade Nuncia to give up the foot? Maybe Musalis could bargain for it somehow? After all, the elf had mentioned that she wanted something from Musalis before the battle started... which begged the question, why would Nuncia walk away now, without the price that she had come for? Unless...

Unless Nuncia had been after her foot from the beginning. But that didn't make any sense either. Nuncia hadn't even known that skeletal undead existed, much less that Musalis was one of them. In other words, she couldn't have known that you could just that the foot. For most other people, the procedure of obtaining a foot would become quite messy, due to all the flesh and blood involved. But then again, Musalis didn't know much about Nuncia. She could be the person who would willingly cut of a living persons foot. Musalis shuddered. Having your foot cut off seemed like a very painful procedure, one she maybe only had escaped by virtue of having an easily removable foot. Usually, she disliked the ease with which her limbs could be torn from her body. But, considered the alternative, she didn't mind quite as much right now.

Well. If that was what she was up against - no, given even the possibility that she was up against someone sick enough to consider doing such horrible things to people, Musalis needed help. It was time to call in Ochre. Also, she should probably move. She couldn't let Nuncia get too far away. So Musalis tried jumping after Nuncia. It wasn't easy - the missing leg set off her balance - but Musalis soon managed to figure out how to do it. It wasn't as fast as running, by far - barely as fast as walking, in fact - but it would have to do.

Meanwhile, she quickly finished her prayer.

"How can I keep standing tall
When I am just a little child?
How can I avoid to fall?
When I am missing a foot?
So I do what I should.

I ask for help, for you the aid me
I request assistance, just a bit
I need you help, so that I can be
Your servant as before
I don't ask for more."

Ochre had been watching this fight for a while, since he had been implored to do so a while before this moment. Time, by and large, is rather inconsequential to an eternal being. Although the prayer of a follower easily draws one into the timestream of the realm from which they speak, simply because the time is now. At this point of time, the undead priest with the singing voice had been beseeching Ochre to return her foot that had been lost during this fight. As he looked back, the situation by which she had lost her foot was rather unfortunate and could be attributed to both the skill of her opponent as much as it could be given to a few blunders in the midst of combat.

It also seemed as if her bible, Cindy, had been giving Musalis advice. Some of it was rather nonsensical, but other stuff was rather intriguing. As another inspired follower, Musalis should have at least listened to what her bible had been saying. He'd have to take that into account as her prayer was answered. He waited patiently for his time to act, beginning to get into the joy of the song. As usual, it was over all too soon and there was work to be done. She had been praying for a while...it seemed as if some fanfare would be in order for this one.

Ochre pushed the skies aside for a moment and parted the clouds. He interrupted the rhythms of time for a moment so that all could see what was going on and know that it was him that was taking these actions on his servant's behalf. A beam of golden light centered on the priest, bathing her in the glory of the situation. Floating down from the heavens was a...leg. The perfect replacement part for Musalis. It continued to float on down from heaven and gently settled underneath the torso of the priest, attaching itself perfectly, almost better than new. This didn't remove the other leg from Nuncia's possession; it was a brand-new leg that was gifted to her.

And now for the second part of the answer to her prayer...

Musalis and Cindy found themselves slowly being lifted into the air. After about five feet, they found themselves floating down a bit and landing on a hard surface. Ochre had found it fitting to gift the duo with a wagon! The priest began to glow faintly with a golden light and a loud thunderclap was heard as the heavens rejoined and time snapped back to its normal speed.

(Unbeknownst to Musalis, the glow is another symbol of a gift from her god. Any unarmed attacks made (which means notuning fork) will cause the target to vibrate as if they were hit by the tuning fork when it is activated, taking the usual damage. However, this effect only applies as long as priest is standing in/on the wagon. If she is knocked off or gets off, the effect ends until she can get back on. The wagon as an item will persist for the remainder of the battle, but the vibration effect will only last for the next five of BDF's posts, after which the glow will subside.)

(The wagon deck is about 5 feet off the ground and measures about 5 feet across and 8 feet long.)

The thunderclap that announced the God's departure snapped her out of the time freeze, startling her as she looked up to the sky, foot in hand, frowning. What in the world had that been? There was no storm in the air, so what had made that noise? It had sounded like thunder. But there wasn't a storm. Frowning more, she looked back to the skeletal girl, her eyes widening in surprise, her monkey form falling on its rump out of sheer shock.

Her god had answered.

Standing in the wagon (she can't be angry now, she's got a wagon!) with both feet and glowing faintly, was Musalis. The fact that there was two feet to her now was a surprising point as she looked to reconfirm that she still had the foot in her hand, but a wagon?! And what was with the glowing? Her mind tried to wrap around that one for a quick second before she decided that this was not good.

If the girl could give chase to her, then it would put her quest in danger, and she had worked too hard for the foot in the first place to lose her goal because a little girl was angry. And with that wagon, she had no idea how she could move it, but it was there, a possible way for her to keep up with even her fastest forms... The glowing though, was what had her most worried; it could mean anything, and that was not good at all. Too many variables in this situation. The foot wasn't needed any longer, so she tossed it over her shoulder without another thought, picking herself up off the ground, wiping her fur off clumsily with her long arms.

Will the girl exact her revenge, or would she let her go now that her god had proved he was watching in on the battle of his priest? Maybe she should have put more stock into this god thing earlier.... Either way though, she readied herself to attack, the risk of the girl botching her quest too great now that she had the boons of her god with her now.

Shifting again, though this time into her original tank form from her early days, she landed heavily on the ground with her thick front paws, giving a roar from her panda face as she stood her ground. With this form, she knew she could at least pummel the girl into breaking, though not as effectively as her gorilla by far. And with the thick skin, at least she knew blunt attacks would bounce a little more than normal. She started slowly towards the wagon, intent on destroying the happiness that her god had given her.

Musalis was no shark; she shouldn't be happy with a wagon, even if her God had given it to her.

Musalis was speechless. A wagon? What did Ochre mean to tell with this? It had started so well; with Ochre making himself clearly known. And then he had given her a new leg, with was awesome. Up to that point, Musalis had been filled with gratefulness. Not that she wasn't still grateful for the leg. But the wagon... was confusing. She just didn't know how to react to it. Her first idea had been that it probably was a joke, about Cindy's story about sharks and wagons. But chuckling over it was a very, very bad idea if Ochre instead had a serious purpose for given her a wagon. So what else could this mean? That she should listen more to Cindy? But the bible said so many... weird... things!

Just then, CIndy commented: "Awesome! A wagon! Now we don't have to fear shark attacks anymore! Yes!"

Case in point, Musalis thought wryly.

"Why, oh why would we fear shark attacks to begin with?", Musalis asked.

"You are really asking that? I had expected better from you. The real question is why you didn't expect a shark attack. That was really sloppy, and might have endangered you. But fine, I'll give you a hint as to why you should have expected shark attacks. Two words: Shape. Shifter."

With a shiver, Musalis realized that Cindy was right. There had been a possibility of being attacked by a shark - there was no reason a shape shifter couldn't change into a shark. And while sharks usually didn't do so well on land, she didn't know of anything prohibiting a shifter from changing into an flying shark that could breathe air. So on second thought, she was very glad she now possessed a wagon.

Musalis turned to face her adversary again. Apparently, Nuncia hadn't given up yet. And she had thrown the leg away. That probably meant that she hadn't yet gotten the thing she wanted from Musalis, the one she had mentioned at the beginning of the fight. So what else... it was probably useless to wonder. There was a battle to take up again, and too much pondering was distracting. She readied her Battle Tuning Fork, preparing to defend her wagon.

The shock was still fresh as the little priest seemed to mull over her gifts, her bible speaking up again about the possibility of shark attacks... It made sense to expect anything from a shifter, but a shark? Really? Obviously they didn't know about her adversion to large bodies of water, or else any sea creature would have been struck from their list of what to expect. But maybe them not knowing what to expect was a better thing; it gave her more of the surprise angle, aside from the obvious fact that she was a shifter, which most were caught off guard by in the first place.

Even so, the battle was not yet over, the girl taking up a stance with that funny fork thing atop her gifted wagon. Nuncia had to be rid of this threat to ensure her success in her quest, no turning back on it. It had been a sign from her own gods to change her ways to make her stronger, and she would be damned more than she already was if she refused her god's gift to her.

The panda gave a snarl, kicking up the pace to s slightly faster lumbering gait, heading for the wagon, the rolls on her visibly shaking from her heavy steps, though she was still moving fairly slowly. In time though, she came up to the wagon and not bothering with the funny fork weapon the girl had, went straight for the spokes of the wagon, swinging a great paw through the wood, splintering its supports to the wheel. Her god had given this to her for a reason, and with both her legs now, it would only be too easy for her to track the shifter on her quest.

Take out the wagon, take out the girl, and then she could move on; it was a simple plan, but the best plans were simple in aspects. Complicated plans held too many variables that could mess the whole thing up. Yes... Simple was best.

It soon turned out that Musalis hadn't thought things through. Most importantly, she had failed to take into account the height of the wagon; Nuncia was attacking the wheels without even coming close to her. She couldn't really do much about that from up here, so she'd have to jump down and fight Nuncia there. After all, she could climb back onto the wagon afterwards. So Musalis jumped down, and landed besides Nuncia, just out of attack range. She straightened herself, and pointed her Battle Tuning Fork straight at her adversary.

"Stop!", she proclaimed, "I will not allow you to destroy my God's gift. Prepare to face judgement for the harm you have already done to it."

And just like that, she took a small step forward, bringing her close enough to attack. She swung her Battle Tuning Fork horizontally, aiming to just graze her. Her weapon didn't need much force behind it, just contact was enough to release the vibrations. Sure, the attack would be much easier to dodge then a more committed attack. But it also allowed her to retreat, making counterattacks much less efficient. So after she had swung her weapon, Musalis would take a step back again, bringing her out of close combat attack range.

She had to wonder, though. Why did Nuncia attack the wagon? It didn't really threaten her in any way that Musalis could understand. She could come up with only two possible explanations: First, Nuncia had somewhere met monsters that looked like wagons, and thought that this was one of them. And second - Cindy had actually been right, and Nuncia was planning to turn into a shark. In that case, she needed to destroy the wagon first, so that she wouldn't become a friendly shark.

"Stop! I will not allow you to destroy my God's gift. Prepare to face judgement for the harm you have already done to it." the little skeletal girl proclaimed loudly, jumping from the wagon. The dense panda didn't even bother to pay her attention, since really, the wagon was the bigger threat right now; if it lived, than she could catch up to the Sylvaan and botch her quest.

So without turning her head at all, the panda prepared to continue to destroy the wheel she had been working on, the wood splintering wonderfully under her thick paws. That was, until something tapped her. Panda's are layered in thick fur, and extra layers of fat, which deflect blunt blows wonderfully, distributing the impacts all over instead of focusing them. It was a little different though, with a vibrating tool-- instead of the impact just rippling over her, it shook her left side of her body, the fat and fur jiggling quite a bit from the effects of the tuning fork. It surprised the panda more than anything, not hurting her overly, though the tingling afterwards was amusing, her strike to the wheel held in mid air as the after shocks of her jiggling slowed.

Suddenly her eyes screwed shut and she sneezed loudly, her paw smacking her face as the noise surprised her too, rocking the panda backwards a little, its other paw struggling to grab the wheel to right itself before it fell over backwards. With a little luck, she managed to grab the rim of the wheel in mid fall, and gave a snort to clear her nose. The snort though was the straw the break the camels back, so to say, and with a pretty splinter crack noise, the rim snapped in her hold and sent her falling onto her back, hunk of wood in her paw.

Struggling to sit up, the rolly polly panda wobbled and rolled until she managed to sit back on her rear, the entire process taking a minute or two, and with a confused look turned her attention to the girl, holding that funny stick thing. Slowly the panda figured out that the stick thing must have been what made her sneeze, and with a rub of her nose, she got up on her paws, giving a laborious throw of the small bit of wood she had to the girl, though pandas were known to not be good at anything besides eating and sleeping, it was no surprise when the broken rim fell to the ground not a foot away from the great jiggly bear.

Now that that was done, back to the wagon, she thought as she began her slow lumbering to the next wheel on that side, paying no real mind to the girl besides confusion. What was that weapon she had, and why did it only make her sneeze? Yea her shoulder and back tingled, but it wasn't unpleasant... it was almost a good feeling, actually. Huh.

Tuning Fork and Reasoning Behind the Jiggles wrote:
"...However, the real strength of the battle tuning fork in comparison to swords is that vibrations transmit easily through metal armor, shields and swords which might be used to stop an attack. Meaning that those will only weaken the effects of the battle tuning fork (due to the added distance); not stop them completely. The downside to this is that normal clothes reduce the effects somewhat, and anything fluffy is as good against the Battle Tuning Fork as armor is against a sword."
Panda= super fluffy, with layers of fat... hence my assumption of lesser damage done overall. Lemme know if theres an issue!

It worked quite well, Musalis thought. Her attack sent Nuncia falling to the ground, which quite effectively stopped her from harming the wagon. Curiously, Musalis watched as the panda oh so very, very slowly tried to get back up. The shape didn't seem made for agility. The skeleton girl even considered if she should just attack now, while Nuncia was inconvenienced. But that seemed a rather harsh thing to do - the panda looked so helpless trying to get back up, it would be almost like attacking a baby.

So she just waited and watched until Nuncia had gotten back up. The question then was: what would she do now? The panda looked at Musalis, and seemed to come to a decision. It then proceeded to throw a small bit of wood in her general direction. Musalis followed it with her eyes, until it landed in front of her feet with a quite disappointing tock. Not even a thud. Musalis hadn't even bothered to dodge, she had seen that the wood hadn't been thrown with enough strength to do any harm to her even if it had hit. Not that a panda wasn't strong - she had seen it rip out spokes from a wagon - but it was just not build to throw effectively.

It was almost surreal, considering that Nuncia had really scared her before. She had even managed to take her foot, somehow. But in this form... it just didn't seem menacing. Musalis turned to the shape shifter, ready to taunt her. That was when she noticed that Nuncia was almost back to continue harming the wagon. But Musalis wouldn't let that happen. Throwing a short look at her Battle Tuning Fork, she decided that was the best course of action. It had had the desired effect before. It might be more effective to send Nuncia away with a Concussion, but it seemed a better idea to spare that for defeating a more powerful form Nuncia could come up with.

So Musalis simply repeated her attack, taking a step forward and just brushing the shifter with her weapon. Then she took a small step back, to avoid a counter attack if such a thing should come.

With her arm ready and poised again to take another try at the new wheel, the little girl seemed to debate what to do; from the corner of the shifter's eye, she could see the slight confusion in her actions. For a moment, even Nuncia was confused at what she was confused at, but slowly she figured it must be her form-- with its rolly-polly attributes, it was hardly as terrifying as her Gorilla, that had successfully stolen her foot from her with nae a problem, or as agile as her leopard or monkey forms. This form was literally used to intimidate smaller creatures, and the effect it had on people when a slow moving blob of jiggle ran towards you was as amusing for the Sylvaan as a comedy would be for others; they never knew whether to be afraid, or laugh.

Her arm already in motion now, she started for the spokes of the second wheel on that side, hoping to at least incapacitate the wagon effectively enough. At the same time, Musalis seemed to have come to a decision, and with her funny little vibrating fork, stroked her again. The panda's paw connected with the spokes, effectively snapping them, as her whole side began to jiggle again, the panda's face screwing up and bunching as she fought another sneeze; with a counter shake to her body, she reversed the ripples of the fork, stopping her sneeze with a snort, her paw reaching up quickly to wipe her nose with the fur on the back of her hand.

With the now double stroke of the fork, her side was getting sore from all the tingling, though it was a sort of abstract tingling pain; looking to the girl, she realized that she wouldn't be able to get rid of the wagon if the girl was constantly poking her with that stupid sneeze stick. Lumbering up to her feet, she started a slow advance towards the girl, her panda face trying to look angry, but all it managed was a slightly confused look as she gave another snort.

New plan; get rid of the girl, get rid of the wagon, continue quest. Musalis had given the Sylvaan something else to hate-- sneezing.

Her plan worked, but Musalis came to wonder whether it had worked too well. She had managed to divert the pandas attention away from destroying the wagon. That was good, and according to plan. However, said attention was now directed at Musalis instead. And the skeleton girl had seen the animal snap wagon spokes. She had no desire to subject her ribs to the same fate. So the attention of Vius was right now a thing she didn't really want.

But then again, it was still better than her attacking the wagon. After all, the wagon could just stand in one place, not avoid attacks. That was, at least until Musalis managed to find horses for it or something else to pull it. She didn't really have money, but maybe she could pay with a song... or sing for money, and use that to pay for horses... But there were enough problems in the present, and thus no time to dwell on future horse purchases. Musalis focuses, and decided quickly that her best course of action was to stay out of range of Vius for as long as she still attacked her and held the same form. The alternatives that she could see were attacking, which held risk to herself, and running far away, which held high risk to her God's gift.

So Musalis moved backwards as the panda advanced towards her, aiming to keep the distance between the two of them too far for Vius to attack in this form, but near enough for him not to give up entirely and go back to molesting her wagon.

The panda continued to advance at its lumbering pace, even trying for some more urgency in its movements, though it did little for its speed. No matter how far or fast she moved, the skeletal girl was always the same distance away. She had continued to keep the girl from the wagon, circling the wagon in slow steps, but even the Sylvaan had only so much patience.

With the panda's slow gait, she feinted to continue towards the girl, though at the last second shifted out to her natural form, her speed more than doubled compared to the bear, and made a tackling lunge for the girl, intent on grabbing a hold of the girl's little bones, the snarl from her as fearsome as the bear's. Patience was never a virtue of hers, and this dance with the little girl had went on way too long.

As she lunged, arms wide to catch the girl, she snarled "Why wont you just leave me alone!" All regard for the little fork she had was lost in her severe irritation. Didn't the girl know all I want to do is get out of here before the sun rises, and follow the damned tracks so I can finish my damned quest?! This exasperation and irritation was etched in every inch of her expression, the pure aggression more of a lashing out than a dedicated strike.

Things went well, for a while. But suddenly, Nuncia changed back to her normal form... or at least to what Musalis assumed to be her normal form. But maybe she actually was a panda, and everything else was just her forms? Regardless, she took involuntary a step back. But it wasn't enough, for Nuncia literally threw herself at Musalis. It was unexpected, and Musalis didn't react in to evade the attack. Nuncia got a grip around her, and they both fell, with Nuncia landing on top. Musalis winced at the impact.

Right. Shapeshifting. She really, really should have thought of that. And this was irritating, she had to admit that much. But hey, she wasn't defeated. There were options... she could try the Siren's Talent and hope it would make Nuncia let her go. If she could somehow get both her hands together under Nuncia, she could blast the irritating shapeshifter away, hopefully giving her enough time to get away before she fell back onto the ground. And, her best option, she still had the Battle Tuning Fork in her hand. While movement wasn't entirely free, she wasn't completely restricted either. So she could move her weapon just a bit, enough to get it into contact with Nuncia. Then it was just a matter of waiting until Nuncia let her go - she really doubted anyone would want to be exposed to the weapon for any longer period of time.

But all her plans evaporated at the question Nuncia asked. The sheer audacity of it... Musalis felt her irritation change to anger.

"ME? Why won't you leave me alone is a much better question! If it slipped your memory, may I remind you that you were the one that attacked me in the first place. Also, you ripped off my leg. And now you are out to destroy the gift of my God - I don't have a choice but to stop you! You're performing a Sacrilege! With a capital S! Actually, you should thank me, for I will just stop you. There is no telling what Ochre might do to you if you aren't stopped and succeed in dismantling his gift. Seriously, what's wrong with your worldview?"
