((Sorry about the wait!))
It seemed to take forever for the Sylvaan to realize that there really was nothing to be so afraid of, that there was no fire, no harm, nothing but the little elf woman-- and that was hardly something to be so afraid of. So with an amount of force she didnt know she had, she managed to calm all her souls down, proving to them there was nothing to be afraid of. Nothing to fear.
The Gorilla began to slow down in its panic, its failing less uncoordinated as it stumbled a little to a stop, its body relaxing just a bit as its crimson eyes opened wide to take in the surroundings. Nope. No fire.
Her shoulder hurt so much more than before, the pain blazing into her chest making her breathing short and panted, her face burning embers from the former attack. But all of that was irrelevant to the fear that she had felt before. What the hell was that? A trick from this woman? Surely it had to have been. There was no other explanation for it. But what essence of her did she use to do such a thing? She replayed the last few moments before that blinding panic, the only thing coming to mind was how the woman had held that bladed bow, with an arrow knocked.... and it had been covered in blackness.
Magicks. She should have known. Were there no noble fighters any longer, that didnt have to use such foreign power to fight her with?
The gorillas gaze settled on the elf woman, seeing the blue blazing energy in the darkness of the night side, eyes narrowing a bit. More magic. Didnt look to be a launching spell though, but shaped as a blade of sorts. And now she was waving it back and forth? Did it do a trick?
The gorilla tensed up, anchoring itself easier into place, getting ready to charge at the woman, when something with some good force behind it thumped into her back, making her stumble forwards more, jostling her already hurt arm, knocking the wind from her a little more.
That's IT! Im done playing games with you little woman! she roared with her mind, as she started to move towards her. But something wasnt right. The gorilla soul was exhausted, damaged, and wished to recede, but no! She had to attack! She had to defeat the woman!
In mid step, just as the gorilla passed into the darkness of the night side, her form all but melted into the shadows, the thumping steps no longer heavy but silent, everything silent. The Sylvaan, now in her true form, melted with the shadows as her markings gave her natural right to within the wooded shade, moving fast towards her target, moving her direction to the trees more, to come out of those shadows in a flank position aiming for her back, her speed as she moved greatly increased so that all of this would take only a few breaths of time [Speed of the Wilds].
Kris in her left hand, as it normally was, her right arm held up against her chest so that she didnt jar her shoulder much more, she moved to have the blade pierce the elf in the back, just below the edges of her leather armoured chest piece, angled upwards to get to the softer, more dangerously important pieces of flesh and organ under he armour.
The Sylvaans face on the right side was marred with fire branded scarring, still angry red, her eyes no longer crimson but a bright hawk amber, and her expression was anything but friendly, with blood now steadily trickling from the gash of the arrowhead still in her right shoulder.
