Huzzah! A battle that has run the course (instead of getting timed out or some shenanigans). Show it some respect guys. Get out there, read it and come back here to vote!

I'm so glad you guys continued on, that ending was considerably more satisfying (I actually have a feel-good feeling from reading your battle!)

I'm voting for BD. Your posts felt clearer without drifting into simplicity, and enjoyed learning so much Sebastián without feeling like anything was forced.

Juliod, I really enjoyed your stuff too. You both make me feel as though I should brush up on my writing skills, or something.

For the future, Juliod, using manual returns throughout your post where it isn't required looks funny. It didn't hurt the read or anything drastic like that, but resolutions, you know?

I hope people read this battle. Good job, guys.

I'm slightly in favor of BD as well. I found his posts just a little clearer.

I greatly appreciate the caliber of both writers in the battle.

I hope to see both of you grow here in DI.

Good Luck,

Az

I am similarly going to vote for BD.

Both of you wrote very well, but I feel that BD came out on top of the endevour. I applaud you both for completing the battle - and with such speed! I'm glad that you guys were able to keep the quality up as well. Seriously, good on you.

@ JuliodIE: I agree with MSS. Because you cannot indent properly on these forums, using a double-return to place a gap in your text is greatly preferable.

Mmm... Guys, I don't think I get what you mean. I had already written to MSS, but as I see he's not the only one: Could you be clearer...? What's a double-return? A manual return? Gaps?
Maybe is a problem of formal/informal expressions... Be kind on me, mates. =) I don't understand what you intend to point out. =(
And I need to know what it is if I am to correct it.

Thanks in advance.

What we mean is that you should double-enter (press the enter key twice) when starting a new paragraph. I'll show you the difference below. It aids in the general readability of the post.

This is an example of a singe enter (single return):

Wordswordswordswords
Wordswordswordswords
Wordswordswords

And this is an example of a douvle enter (double return)

Wordswordswordswords

Wordswordswordswordswords

Wordswordswords

Notice the gap between the lines of words? That's what we mean.

Aaaaaaaaahhh. I didn't know it had that effect... I'm terribly sorry, now. =D

It wont happen again. =)

Thanks for the explanation.

Well I haven't finished my training battle yet, so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to vote. But if I am, my vote goes to BD.

It was really hard to decide, but I felt that BD's posts flowed just a little better. Both of you were great!

Unfortunately, until you pass training your votes do not count, but they are greatly appreciated. Sorry!

I should probably say that somewhere, huh?

+1 For Julio for being a great combatant (and convincing me to continue :))

Sorry, mate...I'm going to have to add another vote for BD. The flow was just much better there.

Sniff, sniff... =) No worries. Now I know what I need to work on.

It would have been just too bold: expecting a victory on my first battle.

Thanks for reading, everyone. And if any of you has some extra advise, please feel free to PM me.
That includes you, BD... (and thanks for the vote, mate).

If its any consolation, I have YET to win a battle in votes XD
So keep up the good work, and now that ya know what to work on, Im sure you could win a battle yet!

Im not voting since I have come to a draw in my mind, so I cant really lean one way or the other....
>X< o(Wish I could vote for BOTH...)
