I was looking at the summons recently and was comparing them to other class abilities/specials available to them. I was wondering if I could perhaps recommend/create a list of more summons to be added to the summon list? Something to beef up the amount that is available to the summoner class?

One of the easiest things to do would be to just create custom summons, that way you can get what you want. The list is small to encourage the usage of custom summons - we have to add extra creativity to the class somehow!

Doesn't that kind of screw them over in needing to get to the milestones though? It means that every summoner will have every summon on that list, and there won't be much variation between then aside from 1-2 summons that are different? <.<

Milestones are counted by Skill as well. So a summoner would by no means NEED to get every summon.

It's really more of a spell caster thing. Milestones are calculated by your character worth in skills/spells(weak=1, med=2, strong=4 and powerful=8). Every character starts at 8 points, generally 4 weaks and 2 mediums.

1st milestone: 15 - allows you to create your first custom weak
2nd milestone: 18 - allows you to create your first custom medium
3rd milestone: 21 - allows you to create your first custom strong
4th milestone: 24 - allows you to create your second custom weak
5th milestone: 27 - allows you to create your second custom medium
6th milestone: 30 - allows you to create your second custom strong

wolf:
A summoner actually has more pre-made summons(6 weaks, 6 mediums, 6 strongs and 2 powerfuls) than either warlock tree(5 weaks, 4 mediums, 4 strongs and 2 powerfuls). So, assuming that a summoner starts with 8 points, 2 of which are weak summons, they could get the rest of the weak summons(4 points) and then two of the medium summons(4 more points) before they could use their first milestone. So, if every summoner received only weak spells after every fight and only used them for spells, then they would be a bit similar. But like SSK said, skills count, too. Also, What if you get a strong in your first fight? Or a powerful? Plus, milestones are only for an even exchange. As far as I know, you could still exchange a medium for a weak custom, a strong for a medium custom or a powerful for a strong custom(Don't do this ever).

{I don't see a need to add anything here} ~ Yoz

This is an artifact of the two halves of warlock not interacting enough.

The point is still illustrated, given that the two halves of the warlock class were never meant to interact.
