P.S for shits and giggles I did Last Stand on casual and macroed up carriers. Fun times with the game nearly breathing from all the interceptors flying around.

well there mana burn ability causes damage as well as prevents them from using abilities

They're harder to micro away than phoenixes are when the hybrids and ultras start coming in from all sides.

Granted, I think it would be funny to try to win The Last Stand just by using storms. I suppose if you spam forges as a defense and just spam storms it could hold for quite a while.
