Battle Tuning Fork (Custom Weapon)

The battle tuning fork is the size of a short sword, and is mostly wielded as such, too. The difference is mainly the matter in which the battle tuning fork damages the enemy. Instead of cutting and stabbing, the battle tuning fork uses vibrations. The battle tuning fork is tuned at tones much higher than can be heard, and those tones carry enough energy to do considerable damage. Each hit affects a medium area around the spot which was hit, since vibrations travel easily through flesh. The effects can vary; possibly including irritation, random bursts of pain when nerves are hit, numbness, uncontrolled shaking, internal and external wounds. Effects are stronger near the point where the battle tuning fork hits the enemy, and weaken with distance (meaning you probably will find wounds where the tuning fork actually hit, and irritation further away).

However, the real strength of the battle tuning fork in comparison to swords is that vibrations transmit easily through metal armor, shields and swords which might be used to stop an attack. Meaning that those will only weaken the effects of the battle tuning fork (due to the added distance); not stop them completely. The downside to this is that normal clothes reduce the effects somewhat, and anything fluffy is as good as armor against a sword.

The battle tuning fork has a special handle, made of some secret non-vibration-transmitting material that allows the owner to wield it without putting her own life in danger.

Little happened for a long time. My battle drags on; going several month now. The same goes for the PQ, which has actually been cancelled. I'm sorry I couldn't complete a PQ, but at the rate it was going I reckon it's for the best we didn't continue. As a consolation I got a medium skill; more than I deserve given the amount written there and yet a poor substitute for being able to participate in a PQ. Oh well.

In other news, Yozshand paid me back 3 gold.

Won a strong and 9 gold in Dangerous Knowledge. The skill will be used shortly (or once I have time), and maybe I'll make a follow-up RP for the battle (the RP would be Musalis-Ochre mostly, deepening their relationship and finding the truth about disappearing temples) but that will have to wait until I have time.

On that note, merry christmas to everybody!

And in todays news, Musalis wealth has increased by one golden spork (worth 1 gold) for being nice to everybody. For as it turns out, it pays to be good.

In other news, I advanced to the next round of the KoD - unfortunately due to timeout. And we were sooooo close to finishing that battle conventionally.

In even otherer news, I started two RP; Donarium and Teatime with God (tough I am unsure whether the latter one is active)

Victory was claimed in "Top of the Roof" against Nuncia, although most of the battle didn't really take place of the roof, so the name is sort of misleading. But it was a full three-page battle, so lots of nice stuff was won: 1 strong skill and 7 gold. Yay! Now I only have to decide what to spend the skill on. I have several interesting ideas.
