*OOC: This battle is SLIGHTLY sexually tinted, so if you consider yourself too young, or might feel offended by this, please, don't read on. It's nothing hardcore, but...well, I felt it needed warning!*

Twas a dark lonely night with a lonely crows wail
and a lonely small halfling sat at a fire.
He looked in delight as he downed his next ale,
Twas Terrence Bumblebottoms, hero for hire.

He had traveled all day and took up his camp,
in this wooded area where the air was all damp.
The moon shed little light and he had kindled a flame,
His lack of nightvision was the thing he did blame.
But right now he didn't worry too much
He had food in his belly, and ale and such.

It had been a busy time and his successes were great
But he was down to a dime and his payments were late.
"Oh what must I do" he muttered in vain,
Nobody heard him, staying out with the robbers was simply insane!
But the halfling feared not, he was poor but well-trained
His rusty had fought , and beat many of fame.

He looked at his sword and his rat by his side,
Both of them had followed him for the ride.
Mr Scruffles was what one could call a friend,
he had fought with him bravely all the way to the end.

As he poked in his fire and sat happily,
he spoke up softly "I hope nobody comes to disturb my glee."
Sadly for him, he was not the only one there.
Someone in the shadows was observing him and completely aware.
Aware of the danger this creature might pose,
and the stench it exuded that traveled into the nose.

"Is someone there?" Terrence asked as he heard a twig snap,
"I'm armed and poor" he continued as Rusty he did grab.
Without hesitation he took a fencers stance.
He shouted "Reveal yourself!" as he saw something move in a short decisive glance.

The stage was set for an epic battle,
in which two people would test their mettle.
Little did they both know they were in the forest of rhyme,
where people had to be poets all of the time.
The fighting would be tense, but rhyming with sense.

*OOC* This battle requires you to fight in RHYME. It doesn't have to be as long as "normal" battles, and is mostly meant as a novel way to fight for a bit. After having waited 2 months twice and not getting any response and a 1 gold reward, I'm setting a 1 week timelimit before I'll take victory. No offense to anyone. Open for everybody.*

(I loved your last paragraph. I was like, "Damnit, oh well... I hate Disney-rhyming too." I hope I can stay on my toes rhyming, as well as battling with you. Thanks for the week thing, I'll try to get it as soon as possible, but rhyming is not as easy as I think is will be...)

Tyzrk was running for her life from a place she thought was haunted,
because she saw her face on papers, and they said "WANTED".
She didn't know what she did bad, what she did wrong,
She just went into a saloon in nothing but a thong.
Forgetting that now, behind her was a mob with the bar's clerk,
Thank god 'cause now it started to get a little dark.

Tyzrk is not a nudist, she has clothes on now,
But the mob did not excuse and allow.
She saw a dark bush, and she smiled pretty witty,
She jumped saying, "Well sorry it's pretty damned hot in this city!"
They lost track, and Tyzrk started with feet of lead,
A very dark forest just twenty meters ahead.

They lost her track, but will come again,
But she will be already well hidden by then.
She looked around, and took a little hint,
and thinking she doesn't want to come here again, she started a sprint.

About half a mile later, Tyzrk still ran
Rather then hanging there with no clothes taking a tan.
She took a little break, and leaned against a tree,
She had now black ninja-like clothing, as you can see.
Her blue eyes gave a dull shine in the night,
And her ears and mouth, thanks to a cloth, was out of sight.

She took her breath, quietly to be sly,
When she saw something at the corner of her eye.
It looked like a light of a fire, maybe someones head, and a cup.
She thought maybe she could lurk and see what's up.
Slowly she crept, having a stalker cliche,
but it seems like someone has heard her anyway.
She wondered what she did wrong, it didn't turn out like it should,
she looked down to see a simple, broken, piece of wood.

Tyzrk silently cussed, almost started to shout
That was when her small, green friend came out.
She came out of her shirt, the event was given a review,
"Well, I guess he already heard you."

The small green thing went to hide
While Tyzrk tried to fit in a slide.
Tyzrk jumped out, smiling a greeting,
Knowing that these two should really not be meeting.
"Hi there, ho there,
Got an extra meal to spare?
I am an elf and seems that you're not
But thank god I ran from that town so hot.
It was burning, more then your fire,
I was literally in nothing but a thong of wire."

She tried to be friendly, and not reveal her bow
But it seemed he might have already seen it so,
"I see you have a weapon, I have one too
I really don't want to fight though, so nice to meet you.
What's your name? I hope we don't end up fighting,
But don't cha just hate my style of writing?"

(I hope that was good =P I'm sorry, I can rhyme, but I need to learn a thing called "Rhythm" >____> )

**OOCit's fine really. It made me giggle too! It doesn't HAVE to be a song, just has to rhyme. I enjoyed reading it. Don't understate your abilities. Really.**

In the darkness of the night,
Two individuals met near a place of light.
A fire set by one, and like a moth to a flame,
Another person came, A perky elf dame.

She spoke of the heat and that she had been nude,
Terrence had to be careful for his response not to be rude.
"Nothing but a thong? that might've been a show!"
"Although your chest leaves much to be desired as far as I know."
Realising what he just said he put a palm to his face.
Rising from his stance he was in with some grace.
"Oh dear what did I say, I'm such a fool,
I'm sure when you were naked all the men drool."

He thought about his words once more.
And in utter despair continued "That made you sound like a whore!"
With a sigh he looked up in dismay.
Once again he had found all the wrong things to say.
"I'm sorry Thong-girl, I just pictured it all,
and quite frankly it seems to drive me up a wall."

He finally got a chance to look closely at this beauty,
Oh my she's more of a tom-boy kinda cutie.
In utter dismay he quickly banished the thought,
Somebody else was his love, even though elves in thongs are naturally hot.
"I'm sorry dear elf, it's good to meet you and your bow,
stop hiding it from me, I want you to show!"
"The weapon that is, not your wirey skimpy underwear.
Oh why did I say that, this imagination is simply too much to bear!"

With a grunt and a sigh, he knew the image was stuck,
A thong wearing elf, if she was this easy, the halfling was surely in luck!
"I can't help myself!" he uttered in a desperate scoff,
"Show me all of it, take it all off!"
Terrence was awestruck at his last reply,
He wondered just one thing, Why god, Oh why!

Why am I tempted by this elf in black,
Sutera's my love, and I'll never look back.
But the thought of an elf, nimble and supple in nothing but a thong,
Everything about the situation seemed right, but was all so wrong.

Driving himself further into his shame,
he spoke once again to this cheeky dame.
"I don't hate your style, though I'm going insane without denial!
But, what's said is said, and done is done...
I've surely offended you, and our chances at friendship are probably gone.

With your humble permission, a simple request,
let me redeem my honour, In the simplest of test."

He paused for a moment, to gather his thought,
and see what destiny to his fire had brought.
"Elves see in the dark, while I'm practically blind,
so my test will be something you'll like, if you don't mind."

He looked at the vixen that invaded his brain,
and befouled his memories of Sutera like a stain.

He continued his rambling, and stuttered out of the blue,
what in his mind was considered to be completely true.
"I love someone else, but now she's wearing your thong,
I cannot allow that, I have to be strong!"

"Look what you did, I'm sounding so cruel!"
"You must think that I'm the worlds biggest tool!"

Stuttering trying to regain his composure,
he knew he had to fight to get some form of closure...
"Test, test...I was talking about a test,
To redeem my honour, to see who is best."

With a sigh he continued with his incoherent mumbling,
as he stood clumsy and bumbling.
I don't wish to fight you, Honest and true,
But without one I couldn't take rest before I completely knew.

I'm not attracted to you, not physically,
but you in a thong is tormenting my brain, screwing me mentally.

You have a bow and seem able,
Fight me to once again make me mentally stable!"

With those words he stood, and grabbed a hold of his blade,
If he lost his mind would be stable, if he won he'd get laid!
"So how do we do this, Shall I be the hunter, and you the prey,
or will you use that bow to stalk me, making me the one to stay?"

Whatever the case, I'll try not to hurt you too much,
You're pretty and like to wear thongs, and elvish and such..."

With a sigh he looked up with a tormented look all over his face,
Then he had visions of thongs of leather...AND LACE!

He grunted and moaned this was simply too much to bear,
This elven woman made him so self-aware.
"I have to go, get ready for me,
because I'll be back, I'm telling you honestly."

Why did this woman make him crazy,
He had been so content lying there, half-drunk and lazy.

But now he was ready, and willing to see,
If he was physically able, to beat this woman, and make his mind free.
"I... am truly sorry..." was the last thing he spoke,
before he turned away, and their eyecontact broke.

With Rusty in his hands and Mr. Scruffles following his boots
He knew that the woman had to prove herself in these darkened woods.
Why does she come to me with tales of her semi-nudity?
I was so content next to my fire, I had some clarity....
Now all is mixed up, and everythings unclear,
Why couldn't she have left me with my fire and beer....

But his own words came back to haunt him, words that wouldn't be gone...
What's said is said, and done is done.
He grabbed Rusty and his eyes started to adapt to the dark,
On a fight to ease his own brain he was about to embark.

With a final shout, he began the struggle,
"I love Sutera, Thoughts of you in a thong and her still pure I can't juggle!
Prepare yourself, fight with all of your might and wit,
and maybe after we could talk and simply sit!
You may take the first shot, I owe you that,
So aim well and true, at this halfling prat."

This fight was about little, a simple thing like a thong,
But the Halfling had emotions, and didn't know where they were to belong.
He loved Sutera, she was the only one,
so the thought of elves in thongs had to be gone.
He solved his problem with the only solution he knew,
A fight, but inside, he felt oh so blue....

**OOC: Oops, went kind of overboard on this post...had so much fun >.<**

(Yes, you did sort of went overboard with that one, honestly. ^^U But that was quite entertaining. I like how you carried it out, and even added a little suggestive content warning at the beginning XD )

The halfling man seemed to go on and on,
he seemed to ramble in the form of a song.
He seemed to disgrace himself in a lengthening chain,
each time with more increasing self-pain.
She felt awkward for a few minutes, having him ramble his beauty
only to take it back and again offend this elven cutie.

Sure sometimes she felt angry, her reputation pained,
but he seemed to now seem calm, his posture regained.
He requested a battle, about nothing but honor,
to take back what he had lost, or he's a goner.
The girl sighed as she knew what's coming.
The senses of her excitement started drumming.
This was the feeling every time she was about to brawl,
But what she loved this time was that the man didn't care if he would win, or would fall.

The elf, on the other hand,
couldn't afford to lose, or he would have a one night stand.
She wondered how humans were like, if it were the 'bomb',
then when she realized what she thought, she too did the Biller facepalm.

"Fine, I will battle you, my name by the by is Tyzrk,"
and with a smirk,
her left arm went over her back
to get a bow that not only shoots, but hacks.
It was a bow with blades and a green shine in the fire,
It was the Bladed Bow, for the archers with close range needs dire.
But she didn't plan to go sword to blade with him yet so,
she grabbed behind her an arrow, and it would act as any regular bow.

She spun the arrows in between the indents of her finger thinking of a plan
to take down this halfling, perverted man.
The arrow spun clockwise while going down and up her fingers, during
the thought of a plan. It could work, but the result was increasingly blurring.

The man stood still, with the fire near him and behind him a tree of pine,
Tyzrk jumped to her right and leaned down so that she, the man, and the fire were in a straight line.

She released the arrow with her knee down, the arrow at an angle,
it went through the fire and its elements had the arrow in a tangle.
Then the arrow burst out, it was now set entirely aflame
it was a cheapo Fire Arrow; it put the real one to shame.

Tyzrk decided this as a potshot, it was pretty easy to avoid,
but the penalty of blocking or not was a burnt stomach, whatever clothing was destroyed.
At this point she noticed Terrences awful smell in motion,
it was like Nicholas's awful potion.
She wondered if that flame were to hit him, should
the smell increase to horribly putrid, and spread through the entire woods?

(Oh and just to let you know, I took the 10,000th post on the Battlegrounds ^^ )

*ooc: Terrence is a halfling not a human! Wink hehe*

The halfling wondered if his actions had not been rash,
as he demanded a fight before he took a dash.
But there was not a chance that he could take it back,
and the darkness was pressing, and so pressingly black.

He saw the elf standing and somehow she put her palm to her head,
then before pulling her bow out she suddenly said,
that her name was Tzyrk, which struck him as weird,
because with the name Tzyrk he thought of a dwarf...with a beard.
She notched an arrow and jumped to the right,
and with a gentle "thwang" set an allow to flight.

Without hesitation, and no time to waste,
The halfling ducked for cover, his body in haste.
The wooden shaft went through his campfire swift,
and murdered the darkness with a fiery rift.
As Terrence got up, and looked up to the piece of burning timber,
he realised to win he'd have to be in her vicinity but he'd have to be limber.

Terrence had only once faced an archer, a trainee with much to learn,
but this was a veteran, he could tell by the way alone she made the arrow burn.
By aligning herself with the fire she made a blazing inferno...
Well, not exactly, but still a flaming arrow.

"You tell me your name, but the reason eludes me,
why should I follow and tell you my name for free.
No I think you should earn it,
My name isn't for all to know,
You're nimble and so fit,
let's fight for my name, and a show.
We both know the drill,
I know you're a vet,
Let's fight if you will,
For my honour and name i'd say that's a nice little..."bet" ."

With that spoken, he scattered to the right,
then rushed forwards, he needed to be close to actually fight.
His plan was quite simple and plain,
He'd run up close, and slash at her, probably in vain.
But he didn't want to hit her with this exploratory slash,
he had to find out what her combat weapon was.
Besides, if he were close he'd figure out what to do,
so he started to run, [Running used 3/4 left] and before he knew
he was upon her, and with a defty sway,
he sent Rusty flying, slashing her way.
It was aimed at her chest, and if it even hit,
it wouldn't strike deep, but it would hurt a bit.

There wasn't much tactics or strategy involved,
but Terrence usually fought better as the battle evolved...

(Oops, I could have sword I said "Halfling"...)

The arrow was lit and flew towards the man.
Sadly enough, it did not go to plan.
The man easily evaded the obvious shot,
he was much swifter then she had thought.
Quicker then the average Halfling, yet Tyzrk never met another one before,
Oh look! Here he comes around the fire; ready for more!
He boasted his name was not worth revealing for free,
But in her eyes he's just a pervert, as anyone else might see.
He drew a sword that was in the rain too much,
And swung it at... Well, let's say the place he'd wish to touch.

She wondered why EVERYONE had to aim there;
At least once a battle, it wasn't fair!
It wasn't funny that they were doing this #*!t,
She didn't even have big boobs, but they still did it!
She felt offended even more now,
and with a flying in a rusty blur.
She almost yelled foul,
no one could really blame her.

As an act of defense, a natural counter in a fight,
she quickly placed the bow in both hands, and starting from the right;
she swung towards the left to catch the sword for the best.
They clashed! The sword stopped; she saved her, quite literally, chest.
For a half second they pushed against each other, a balance created.
Tyzrk then quickly shoved the bow leftward, the sword would be pushed back a bit, she stated.

She swung the blade left, the sword was flung,
her arm was held upward, and straight was it hung.
The bow, the instant her arm straightened, spun between her fingers,
both hands then grasped the handle, and swung the bow once again without any linger.
The bow swung for the left shoulder of the man,
it was ready to hit, but that was not the plan.
She knew he was agile, she knew he could evade,
she would improvise an idea to fight well in this shade.
The blade was rusty, his smell was not pleasant,
but this elf was ready to give this guy one hell of a present!

(And it ain't sex either!)

As Terrence attempted to inflict bodily harm,
The elf picked her bow, and much to the halflings alarm,
used it as if it were a sword, and to great effect,
This was something new, and a new strategy he'd have to elect.

She warded him off and pulled back her bow to strike with the blade,
it would hurt him too if he had not moved and just stayed.
But with all the experience he had gained by learning to fight,
he knew he'd have to move, nimble and light.

Darting and weaving attack and defense,
Every battle he fought was close up and tense.
He knew his initiative was lost, and without a thought,
he knew she expected him to dodge quite a lot.

Why let her down? I might as well go!
It'll let her know that Rusty isn't just for show!

With an abrubt halt to his vicarious assault,
He blocked off the bow and took two steps back,
he tried to investigate where here defenses lack.

He found none at that moment, and in the little recess,
he spoke up and said: "Well, now dear lass..
I must stress that though you may feel blessed,
that nonetheless this is not the first time we crash.
I'm sure that you think poorly of me or less,
But I assure you I know my bit of combat, but I digress."

He knew that his little speech would give the elf time to prepare,
and attacking her was something he did no longer dare.
Instead he decided to circle and wait,
he'd let her attack him, let her take the bait.

For in the shadows, Mr. Scruffles did lurk,
with friends that were furry, and they would not shirk.
At the simplest of orders they'd flow out and fight fierce,
All Terrence needed to do is prevent an arrow to pierce.
To pierce any vitals would make his life sore,
He had enough of that already, he didn't need any more.

With a final taunt, smouldering on his lips,
he put his free hand on his hook, located at his hips.
"Take your best shot, I'm ready for you!
You'll see that I'm able unless your aim is true."

He could've taunted better, and hint at romance,
but it wouldn't do much, so he took his fighters stance.

His eyes kept closely as the fire lit the elves features so well,
She was a very fit woman, that much you could tell.
Without any more time to observe her he focused on the threat,
If she would attack, he would show her his superiority yet!

Once again, the man took a stance
Maybe he was mocking her, her annoyance was slowly enhanced.
He taunted, provoked, and asked her once again to shoot
Then that's what she'll do, hit this poor, nutty fruit.
She grabbed an arrow from behind her arm,
And was prepared to show this man more of her 'charm'.
She placed the arrow on the strings, and pulled back with intent.
With that killer aim of hers, and a head of cement.

She closed her eyes for a half second, concentrating on a different matter,
She couldn't afford to let this one shatter
For it was not a special aiming technique, something worse,
She has used magic to create another arrow, which cost another verse!
An arrow simply appeared beside the first, floating in the air
And Tyzrk let the arrows flying at the man, the two arrows flung towards there.

"How do you like that one?" She said,
"This is one technique that has lost many their heads.
They were not cautious about a second, hidden arrow,
but that is what Ninza's are all about; stealth, and limitless ammo!"

And now she watched, for the two arrows went
at such a speed, into the enemy's tent
She aimed for one of his arms and one of his legs,
Knowing he would dodge them, or suffer pain in kegs.
The man knew that he would show her his superiority once she struck,
But Tyzrk knew that she would show him many tricks that will leave his jaw open stuck!

(Double Blow: 2 more uses)
(Yes, I'm in a rush; why do you ask?)

A bold speech the elf made with arrow on string,
and after she spoke not one but 2 arrows took wing.
With aweinspiring speed they flew to the halfling,
as his muscles tightened to dodge the one he was seeing.

For sad as it was, Terrence only saw one.
And with a gracious leap he thought the danger was gone.
But the pain came at once, as his left hand was struck,
"Aiiiyee!" he cried out, "I knew I should've ducked!"|

He looked at his hand the arrow stuck right through,
as blood droplets fell to the ground Terrence certainly knew.
That's a rookie mistake you should've seen that one come!
he thought to himself as he wiggled his thumb.
He was lucky it seemed, no muscles were harmed,
though an arrow was stuck in his hand, he could still be armed.

He broke off the arrowpart with the head,
and pulled the arrow out while he looked at the hole it left in its stead.
"You'll pay for that you thongwearing being now stuck in my mind!"
he screamed out in anger and wondered if he was going blind.
He should've seen such a simple old ruse,
but it was too little too late, though he was glad his hand he could use.

With a gracious few steps he moved himself quite close,
as adrenalin kicked in with a generous dose.
"BANZAI!" he did scream as he lifted his blade,
and then let it slice down in a bladed cascade.

His plan was quite cunning, if you could call it that,
he planned to have his swordstrike blocked then throw his hook off the bat.
Though his left hand was aching, it wasn't a disaster,
although aiming well with his hook was still something he needed to master.

He hoped with close range he neednt aim well,
as he let Rusty fly down he grabbed his hook ...and then he fell. Stumbling used
His blade had been aimed at her torso,
but thanks to his stumble it went straight to her loins,
threatening her even moreso.

Out of balance he knew he'd have no chance to throw,
so he shifted his weight to put more power behind his blow.
He hoped that the sword would make her fall back,
As his tactics were otherwise ruined and a backup plan he did lack....

Hope in his heart, time slowed down to a crawl,
as he wondered if in a few seconds if he'd be able to win a brawl.....

(Sorry Dj, but posting those is the only way I'll be able to push myself to write. I'm a very lazy person =X I couldn't even get it in on time even with the memo...)

Tyzrk was feeling good; she was feeling pretty hot
Because she made a successful, marksmen-worth shot.
One arrow fooled him, the other gave some luck,
the man was struck, and he said a word that rhymed with duck.
She had already explained that it was a great archer's trick,
but he didn't listen, so he took a good lick.
Blood started dripping down, his face full of shock
But the power of this woman was not enough to make him gawk.
She felt he was making another up, some sort of thought.
An idea, of course, about how the next minute will be fought!

He took his blade, oh full of rust
And made a charge, through hatred, or lust.
He raised his arm, ready to strike her upper body,
And Tyzrk grew ready; if she were struck he would enjoy some dead booty.
She raised her Bow above her head for the perfect plan to function,
'Cause the last thing she needs is a wardrobe malfunction!
The man brought down his arm, ready to attack,
when he fell straight down, like he had stepped on a tack.
He fell, and with his body's weight,
went downwards for the goodies, boy he couldn't wait!
Tyzrk had more sense then to let that trick get her at the first sound,
but she had already raised her bow, she didn't have time to bring it down.

That was when she spun an idea, a plan of her own.
A play of display tonight has she shown.
She gave a good spin so he was now aiming for her back,
now he was aiming for her elven butt, but with an unexpected clack,
his sword has met her Bowmerang, which was horizontally sat on her hip,
but due to the force of the sword, the Bow was sent down for a slip.
While the sword didn't hurt her at all, her bow fell down her legs,
and a sharp edge gave a light cut on her shins, but not enough to cause pegs.

She cringed and decided it was for the best,
at least she didn't get that rusty thing into her chest!
The bow landed on the floor, which she took as a time to escape,
she jumped as soon as her bow landed on the floor, onto brightened landscape.
Her eyes shined with the fire in the night,
showing confidence, glowing in the light.
She was ready to go with the next groove,
So you know what to do, G, Bust a move!

As the halfling stumbled and the assault went all wrong,
The elf turned around and Terrence saw her backside was strong.
A boomerang caught his sword and deflected,
as he saw her run away, the halfling reflected.

Walks in a thong with buns of steel,
so she's prety damn sexy from head to heel...

With a shake of his head he went back to the fight,
Thinking of how sexy his opponent was was simply not right.

He was already in love, and this vixxen was bad,
but all this carnal seduction was too much for the lonely small lad.
With a blink he snapped out of his thought,
and saw the benefits his attack had brought.

The elf had dropped her bow, it was lying below,
and Terrence did know, that the thing wasn't for show.
He grappled the bow, took it from the floor,
and held it in his injured hand, examining it a little more.

He smiled a bit as he cut the string,
for now no arrow from that bow would take wing.
He dropped the now sabotaged bow to the ground,
he looked around but no elf could be found.

"Flush her out my furried old friends!
Your master needs you, so meet his demands!"
[rat collector used 2/3 left]
As he peered in the darkness an eery chittering was heard,
As dozens of rats came from holes deep under the Earth.

From the blackness of shadows an army was moving about,
Trying to find an elf in the shrouds....
The rats shall surely find her, but i must be precise,
or else their own noise won't tell me where she put on the dark as a disguise.

"When you find her bite down and chitter,
and try to unveil things that glare and glitter!"

the halfling shouted out, as he peered into the black,
though courage he had, night vision he lacked.

His rats however were perfectly fine,
and they found the elf nearby an old pine.
As one they attacked in a sea of furry might,
For unlike their master they didn't need light.

The actions of hordes of vermin in the night,
filled the darkened skies with noise,
Most people who heard it would run away in fright,
So Terrence awaited with poise.

With Rusty in one arm, a broken bow by his feet,
his hurt hand on his hook, he clenched his teeth.
Mr. Scruffles and friends would flush this girl out,
Or at least make it hard and force her to shout.

"We all have our tricks, my little elf wench,
and mine isn't just my horrific stench..."

With his volume just above the rats squeaking,
Terrence had looked in the direction he thought he should be speaking.

Now I wait to see what her actions shall be,
but keep paying attention and listen and see.
She caught you once with a little surprise,
don't be fooled twice she's fine combatwise....

And in any other way, she's pretty much fine...
...."oh...too many women in that head of mine.."
With a deep sigh he focused on Angel again,
She was his love, the only one in his life then.

This thongwearing pretty would find her own trouble,
As one rat turned to 2, and two to four and then that number went double.
More and more Rats assaulted her with teeth and claws,
and the eery sound of hearing even more paws....

"You have 1 chance to surrender to submit to my will,
or you can decline but I promise that will be a bitter pill."

Terrence voice echoed through the woods like a thunder,
But her surrender was not something about which he wondered.

Tyzrk hid peacefully behind the sight of a tree,
where even in the fire, the halfling could not see,
the elf renowned for wearing a thong,
she was starting to become bothered about it, it was starting to go wrong.
She was thinking of a plan, to have his plans shatter
but her train of thought, ever so small, was interrupted by a distant, awkward chatter.
She wondered what it was, and it sounded kind of weak,
but to her surprise, it was the mixture of dozens of tiny little squeaks.
Her eyes expanded, and through many, many creeks,
she saw pairs of eyes, it filled the darkness's leaks.

She got scared and looked above,
to see a bushel of leaves she could simple shove.
To escape the rodes of what were hidden, she went to jump
into the fresh spring tree, where the leaves would hide in big lumps.
She jumped and hid, and one after another came more surprises
she remembered that rats too can climb, and they came in horrendous size!
Tyzrk sighed, she constantly tried,
this was not a mistake she would soon let slide.
She soon looked at the sight where the halfling stood,
she sort of regretted ever stepping into his hood.

Quite afar, near, there, but still cared,
was Tyzrk's little friend, who had perspectives shared,
with a little angel character, and together they both took a scan,
to come together and to devise a good plan.
They hid in the shadows, and out of all eyes
to help and fight and fight, until their power dries.
Xhercfa and Jibou both put together their hands,
they chanted holy scriptures, and hope this baby lands.
They charged their usual spell in next to no time
But they have realized that some thing's changed.
They noticed that in the Forest of Rhyme,
Their chants were rearranged;

"We ask for God's power, in this hour,"
"To show the evil that light does not cower!"
"They say the bottom of the lighthouse is never lit;"
"But we will stand against that darkness, strong and fit!"
"So lend us your strength, the one we know that doesn't end,"
"The one to help our friends, and have Angel's Tears ascend!"

And as if the cries of the peasants have been finally settled,
the power of the heavens have shot, the beams have sprouted and kettled.
The light's ray has shot through the night that all could see,
It just so conveniently hit Tyzrk's troublesome tree.
Whatever Tyzrk had jumped away from,
the rats were blasted, the tree was blown some.

Tyzrk jumped from her tree top, just in time to avoid the first bite,
to land near the man with no name, and to avoid a painful light.
She dared not look behind her as her eyes were adjusted to the dark,
but she was pretty sure her friends have hit the mark.
"I see you have a friend; well I have one too
But the only target I have is one man-you.
We can have our buddies fight off as they wish
but we two; we're the big fish.
How 'bout it, gonna play the bets;
Or are you too helpless without the aid of your little pets?

You keep on saying to aim true on the run
That's a bet I will paying,
But there's no need to choke the nun
If you know what I'm saying!"

Events occured at a very high pace,
As a bright flare scorched the night.
The elf leapt to the ground from a tree with grace,
and for a moment the battle was bathed in light.

What sorcery is this? She's not a mage
Terrence thought as he felt a slight rage.
This should've worked, I don't understand!
As he thought of these things the Elf took a stand.

She spoke of a bet,
without aid of pet,
she mentioned a fish and a nun,
and some sort of pun.

"I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean,
You can jibber all you want, but you have been seen."

Terrence replied as he scanned the battle scene,
and he realised now this elf was a fighting machine.

The thonglady was close, almost begging for an assault,
but something about it made Terrence stop to a halt.
I smell a rat, and it surely aint mine,
If I charge her now my health will decline.

With that simple thought he pulled out his hook,
and twirled it around like he had read in a book.
He aimed at her clothes, they were soft and easy to potrude,
and if he was succesful she'd be fighting semi-nude.

His plan was to snare her clothes, and rip them to a shred,
To see if thong-girl was true to what she said.
As he released the hook, guided by luck or perhaps fate,
it flew very fast and it went very straight.

The plan was quite simple, the elf was in black,
and if her chest was exposed the benefit of stealth she would lack.
Ofcourse it'd be nice to see her supple chest,
but survival was first, then came all the rest.

The darkness and her clothing concealed her from view,
If the halfling could take away one, his chances would grow this much he knew.
He had to get an edge, he already had a hole in his hand,
and losing a battle was something the hobbit couldn't stand.

If winning meant stripping the elfgirl completely bare.
Then that's what he'd do, Terrence didn't care.
He was over his doubts, he wanted to win,
And between undressing her or dying the first was a lesser sin.

But luck was with Terrence, even though he didn't see,
because there was one more pet that didn't climb up the tree.
Mr Scruffles assaulted with all of his might,
and because he was so small he'd been concealed by the night.

At the same time Terrence had thrown,
The extent of the rat had finally been shown.
Though the rat was in anger, he wasn't dumb,
and intelligently waited to throw a temper tantrum. temper tantrum used 1x left

The Rat was in rage and jumped at her ass,
he'd bite down quite hard and that would hurt the lass.
She'd probably rid herself of the rat in a hurry,
but just a few seconds and the rat would be the least of her worry.

Terrence hadn't noticed Mr. Scruffles attack,
maybe she hadn't either as he assaulted her back.
Distracted as she would be, it'd be difficult to save her shirt,
And fighting barechested would surely hurt!

Tyzrk landed just in time to have the man ready for attack
after some small-talk, he pulled his arm back
and as the swallow takes flight into the afternoon sky,
he let his claw forth; she knew where it was aimed, and asked herself, "...Why?"

As a defensive maneuver, as she did not want to be stripped,
leaned backwards to avoid her clothes to be ripped.
At first it was just a backwards lean, but balance was lost,
and she want falling back, unaware of the duo's cross.
As she fell a rat jumped for her butt,
but because of her angle, the rat was flying straight for her back,
he still made the cut, so complaints did he lack.

As Tyzrk fell, she felt a horrible teeth fly across two inches on the right of her back,
and as reaction, she leaned to her left as she fell, not wanting fall on the rat and have it further hack.
She fell on her left, and rolled away from the rat,
in anger she tried to grab for it, but it quickly made scat.
She would have time for this rat later, it was just small-time,
But this guy, he almost got a cheap look without the cost of a dime.
He must have been baffled by the sudden, painful light,
but to him, confusing had just entered the fight.
Tyzrk had a plan to throw him into a rampage,
Or, at least throw his confusion off the page.

Tyzrk pushed herself off the ground in a hurry,
and placed her Bladed Bow back, her vision for a second got blurry.
She raised her arms and as the gods have feared,
a blue aura around her formed and appeared.
The wind blew a different direction,
and was concentrated on one section.
Her eyes glowed and after a sigh,
the aura flashed bright, it sort of looked like the spell of a psi.
The forest darkened again, to the light of flames,
where Tyzrk stood, with a Bow of Magic, or so she claims.
Her back ached from her scratch,
but her real power had just dropped latch.
A glow had given off throughout the area,
as Tyzrk drew an arrow, her offensive took a new era.
She aimed quickly, trained as a Ranger and Ninza pro,
took a half second to see his chest, and let go.
The arrow soared, giving off a light as it went,
but its strength stood true, bones and trees could be bent.
Her power had just started to show, a passion started to burn,
so go, DC, go; your turn!

*ooc: 2 things. 1 sorry for the late response, I was busy helping my girl out with DIY friday-tuesday. 2: could you add specials/uses to your attacks? It's rather difficult to know exactly which one you use, and how much are left*

As hook and rat flew to give terrence a good sight,
Of the elven lady, dressed up for the night,
She scrambled and flung herself to the ground,
The weapon had missed and Mr. Scruffles was bound.

The rat had to retreat, surprise was his tool,
and the little rodent wasn't a giant fool.
As the girl got up and Scruffles got away,
Terrence looked calm it just wasn't his day.

The elf girl got up, and pulled up another firghtening looking bow,
And from painful experience Terrence knew they weren't for show.
Then the elf seemed to hum, and though it seemed stark,
she started to shine blue, she glew in the dark.

Psionics? is this girl a mage?? Terrence thought as he saw,
the blue glow around her and his anger was pure and raw. [Bitter Emnity]
As the girl grabbed an arrow the anger set in,
Mages and spells...Terrence could not let her win!

As the arrow took flight, in an eery blue shine,
Terrence stood ready, as he thought This girl is mine.
The adrenalin pumping he took 2 quick steps to the right,
and just managed to put himself out of the arrows flight.

A splintering crack signified it missed and hit a tree,
as he dropped the hook letting his wounded hand be free.
The arrow had acted like a spell, furthering his rage,
He would not lose to this spellcasting elf archery page!

In anger he grabbed out his cup, and pain shot through his hand,
the hole was still bleeding and though the pain wasn't grand,
it was sufficient to make him flinch a tiny bit,
before he once again regained his wit.

"I've fought men and women far greater than you,
I've conquered odds you'd think I wasn't telling true.
You use magic to win, your honour is forfeit,
I'll purge this forest from you or at least I shall try it."

As terrence spoke up the cup had started to fill,
and thanks to the lid it would not prematurely spill. [Cup comprehension 1x left]
With no further delay he scrambled to the blue glowing girl,
then raised up his sword Rusty in a menacing swirl.

He was too far away to make a damaging strike,
but even his current strike she'd probably not like.
He was aiming at her bow, her weapon of choice,
if he could disarm her she'd be left with only the weapon of voice...

If she truly was a mage as Terrence now suspected,
She'd still have a defense and it'd explain why she neglected,
to pick up her other bow and let him disarm it in such a simple fashion,
and Terrence hated only one thing... He hated spellcasting with a passion.

So Rusty flew from far to strike at her bow,
as the swipe started high and then went to low.
It wouldn't hurt the elf at all if it was to hit,
but it certainly would damage the bow quite a bit!

"Bring it Thong-Elf-Girl for playtime is now officially done,
now it's time to fight and nice mr. Terrence is gone!"

he spat those few words as he cleared the distance to finally swing
He'd not lose a battle to this archer elf mage thong-wearing thing!
